    Torque Leather Jacket

This was my second purchase from Rhino and won't be my last! Having never owned a leather riding jacket before (as I ride adventure bikes and wear textiles most of the time) I was looking at the MotoCap website and was not happy to see my textile jacket with a 1 star safety rating... bugger... Time to upgrade. I saw the Torque Jacket on the MotoCap website. So glad I did! I LOVE this jacket! It's great quality, very comfortable and feels safe. I upgraded to CE2 armour and the Jacket is fantastic. Do yourself a favour, get one of these! Sizing wise, its pretty accurate. I have another jacket that I laid on a table and copied those measurements. I went up one size to account for armour and variations due its handmade nature. Going up one size was perfect. Postage was super fast, 3 days I think... Can't thank the crew at Rhino Leather enough, and I will recommend highly to anyone! Very Happy!

    Absolutely great jacket

It is a great jacket. It needs to be worn in, (especially with the armour in place) as it is real leather that is very thick and heavy. Has removable liner for those cold mornings and the armour (elbows, shoulders, back) are all removable as well. Feel extremely safe in these jackets.

    Torque leather motorcycle jacket

Jacket is great, but unfortunately the size guide was not very true to size. This was a Christmas present, tags, etc still attached as is a requirement for return. Also, jacket had two different prices on the tag, you may want to take price tags that are cheaper off of items. Instead of posting back, I’m hoping my husband can make it into the store to exchange (then I know the size will be right for him). Thank you, Esther

5 STARS. Torque Leather Motorcycle Jacket with Vents and Armour

Posted by Justin on 27th Oct 2022

I brought the Torque Leather Motorcycle Jacket with Vents and Armour a few weeks ago. It is a great jacket. It needs to be worn in, (especially with the armour in place) as it is real leather that is very thick and heavy. Absolutely great jacket, I just received a second one for my finance. Great product. Great service and very fast shipping. Would highly recommend.

    Torque leather jacket

This is my first leather jacket so I have nothing to compare with but saw something down at the local motorcycle shop for over $400. Was a bit dubious to purchase online cause love to see things first and was concerned about sizing but with all the good reviews decided to purchase. Was pleasantly surprised with quality and are very happy with the jacket Sizing was spot on too by using sizing chart All in all I would highly recommend this jacket Cheers Paul

    Initial Impressions

Posted by Chris H. on 21st Feb 2022

Just received this a week ago, delivered in good time after ordering (which is pretty rare in these times). Overall, I'd have to say the design and finish is well-matched with the price. Prior to ordering this, I'd recently tried on some higher end ($600) leather jackets. Notably, they didn't come with the built-in venting, shoulder gusset (for reaching forwards), and in one case, no quilted liner, or back protector. The dearer ones did have a more expensive looking finish to the leather and stitching, however appeared to use similar thickness leather. I'm usually normally an XL in standard clothing jackets, but upsized to allow for the armour, which gave me a perfect fit. The sleeves are nice and long, and the overall feel of the jacket is comfortable, both on and off the bike, and sits nicely when off the bike as well. The only drawbacks were a stitching flaw in the collar (2-3cm long) allowing separation of the leather layers (I can live with this). The other, as mentioned in other reviews, is that the forearms aren't really tapered to the wrist, leaving a large wrist opening for cold air (or bugs) to run up(about 3-4cm excess circumference). Gloves with a decent gauntlet may solve this, however it does make things pretty bulky around the wrist by the time you fold it all in. I'm seriously thinking of finding a leather worker to try and narrow things down a bit, or at least add another fastener further around the cuff. I bought this to go with a bike that I'm still waiting on delivery for, so not tested on-road as yet. I'll update once I do.
